"A circle brings perfect harmony, endurance, and strength. Once established, it cannot be overcome."
Kyoso is an elegant classic in the tradition of Go and Reversi. It is a strategy game for two or three players. Kyoso features a hexagonal game board and smooth glass playing stones. Players take turns moving their stones one hexagon at a time. An opponent’s stones can be captured by surrounding them at both ends of a row. Victory is achieved when a player forms a circle of six stones at the center of the game board.
Kyoso is simple to learn, yet deeply strategic. It offers a fascinating conflict between the desire to move stones together to form a winning circle, and wanting to stay to the outside where it is safe. Understanding this tension is the key to success.
